Our Story
In the 1970s, borders ceased to exist in Dearborn, Michigan as people came from all over the world seeking home and peace. So, our founder’s family created just that.
Traditions were shared, laughter ran abundant, and coffee was poured for people of all backgrounds, right in the living room. A safe space was created, where anyone belonged, anyone could share a story—and anyone could have a cup of Yemeni coffee, brewed just for them.
Nostalgic for the feeling of home—the living room and Yemen—our founder Mohamed Elgahmi created Moka & Co.
Drawing on Yemen’s rich history and love of coffee, we craft coffee for the community.
